Facebook has finally given a reason for the six-hour outage Monday

Facebook’s outage came a day before whistleblower Frances Haugen was set to testify before Congress about her experiences at the company. Haugen, a former Facebook product manager who worked on its Civic Integrity group, provided a trove of internal Facebook documents to reporters at the Wall Street Journal. Beware of This Android Malware That Spreads Through WhatsApp

A new malware has been discovered on Android spreading fast through WhatsApp messages to other contacts in order to expand what appears to be an adware campaign. Android malware “This malware spreads via victim’s WhatsApp by automatically replying to any received WhatsApp message notification with a link to [a] malicious Huawei Mobile app,” ESET researcher The link to the fake Huawei Mobile app, upon clicking, redirects users to a lookalike Google Play Store website.
